Self-Draining System
Your dog’s potty breaks are no longer a dreaded chore! To clean the Porch Potty MEGA, pick up solids and water the grass with a watering can or hose for 1 minute. This allows the water to soak up the entire surface and clean every blade of grass. Porch Potty MEGA works as both an outdoor and indoor dog potty. For outdoor use, attach the 2 included 14-foot drain hoses to wash all the water and urine away to your designated runoff (drainpipe, rain gutter, patio, yard, etc.). How do I clean the Porch Potty MEGA?
Cleaning the Porch Potty MEGA is easy! Simply remove solids and manually water the grass with a watering can or hose for 1 minute. This allows the water to soak up the entire surface and clean every blade of grass. The water will then flow through the perforated backing in the synthetic grass and down the 2 14-foot drain hoses or into the 2 catch basins (sold separately). Do this every few days for a clean and odor-free Porch Potty.To clean the plastic trays, wipe it down or let it soak in water and vinegar or water and a bit of bleach. Empty and rinse with water. Now you can place the grass back on.You should also lift the two bases of the Porch Potty MEGA to clean any areas where your dog may have missed or dripped down the side.
Will the Porch Potty MEGA smell?
With regular cleaning, your Porch Potty will stay odor-free!! All it takes is rinsing with clean water a few times per week. The self-draining system will do the work for you and direct all the water and urine to your designated runoff or into the catch basins.Sometimes, despite how often you clean the large Porch Potty, protein in urine can build up, leaving behind lingering odors. What if my dog won’t use the Porch Potty?

Bigger than expected! Wish the fire hydrant had something to hold it down but not a big deal to me as long as my doggies can potty in a proper section that we can keep clean easily and not be as stinky if it was hitting the cement. It also arrived in a timely manner, love it!

This is a lifesaver if you live in a Condo! It’s easy to assemble and a little bulky but a great design, easy to clean and functional. My dogs took to it right away, it’s the perfect solution for my Senior Rescue dog that needs to go out at 3am!

Located in TX. We have two 85 lb golden retrievers who were slowly destroying our yard. Porch potties saved our grass from getting killed by dog urine and digging. Purchased 2 years ago - still pleased with the product. 10/10 would recommend.
We originally started with the single porch potty with the sprinkler system. The dogs would use it sporadically. I had been contemplating adding the double for a few years now and finally did so this year. So happy we did. Now it’s big enough for the 3 of them. We are working on using it consistently and unprompted. I do wonder what my neighbors think when i am outside yelling on your potty! On your potty! 🤣

The Mega was the perfect size, and with the addition of wall hanging artificial plants, our two 8 year old dogs have both started using it regularly for numbers 1 and 2, after about three to four weeks.
We have the draining hoses directed right to the deck drain. This has been a HUGE help to transition our guys to condo living. They still also get walks, but it makes some mornings and evenings easier, or when they just need quick relief.

The Porch Potty Mega was a perfect solution for relocating two adult dogs to a wooden deck area. Absolutely love our Porch Potty Mega. Previously, I was using just a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet. Which was fine, but there was no drainage....scrubbing it every other day!!! With the Porch Potty, there's no more scrubbing. Simply remove solid waste and rinse with the water hose!!!! Cannot recommend this product enough!!!!! ❤️

After 10 days our 3 dogs are slowly starting to use it. I love how well it drains, and we don’t feel any smell after a brief rinse with water. Also, not having to wipe mud off our dogs’ paws every time they go out is priceless.

I have two large dogs, Bernese mountain and golden retriever. From the reviews this seemed like a good option. It is extremely flimsy. Perhaps a stronger structure for large dogs versus a larger size structure?

Dog have no interest. Kind of a waste of $. May work with puppies, but my adult dogs want nothing to do with it.

Great so far, so much cleaner and more sanitary than a grass rug on the porch. Love that I can spray it down and rinse it whenever, smells can’t thrive and our porch is much nicer because of it. Dogs took to it quickly since they have always used turf.

My puppy loves it! That’s what matters. I was a little unimpressed with the craftsmanship, but it is sturdy and functional. It looks nice, too. It doesn’t smell if you rinse it regularly. It does stay wet for a long time, though, so a little sunshine or overhead fan helps with that. I hope to hook up the drains so the water goes outside, but I’m using the pans for now. Gotta rinse it or the pee stays in the turf. Solids come up more cleanly than I thought they would!

Our previous porch potty worked great. The Mega version is basically the same but twice the size and let's the dogs circle around more. The one negative I'd say is that the middle is only supported by two joists that give a little with bigger dogs. Adding a wood block underneath helps to support the center.
