Located in TX. We have two 85 lb golden retrievers who were slowly destroying our yard. Porch potties saved our grass from getting killed by dog urine and digging. Purchased 2 years ago - still pleased with the product. 10/10 would recommend.

We originally started with the single porch potty with the sprinkler system. The dogs would use it sporadically. I had been contemplating adding the double for a few years now and finally did so this year. So happy we did. Now it’s big enough for the 3 of them. We are working on using it consistently and unprompted. I do wonder what my neighbors think when i am outside yelling on your potty! On your potty! 🤣

Check out our sweet Porch Potty Mega setup on the deck of our 5th floor condo! The Mega was the perfect size, and with the addition of wall hanging artificial plants, our two 8 year old dogs have both started using it regularly for numbers 1 and 2, after about three to four weeks. We have the draining hoses directed right to the deck drain. This has been a HUGE help to transition our guys to condo living. They still also get walks, but it makes some mornings and evenings easier, or when they just need quick relief.

The weather is unpredictable in Wyoming so we love the versatility of the porch potty. Right now we have it in the garage due to the crazy wind outside, but we plan to move it outside during the summer months. She's still learning how to use it, but she sure looks cute trying!

This double Porch Potty was easy to assemble. It is also easy to clean. And all 3 dogs use it regularly once I rubbed doggy urine on it! Great product for me to encourage outdoor pottying.

Before I started using the porch potty I had a ridiculously expensive bougie grass subscription. The grass subscription said you should only have to switch it every 2 to 4 weeks but since I have a puppy and another dog it needed to be switched out every week which was way out of my price range. Then I found the porch potty! I live in an apartment so it sits on my balcony and I have the catch basin underneath it which is great since I’m on the top floor and cannot use the hose that came with it. I have been trying to rinse it every day which helps with the smell But it does take a while to dry. I bought ann enzymatic cleaner on Amazon because the one on the website is super overpriced, sorry about that but I have to be honest! After I use the cleaner I rinse it and hang it over my balcony ledge to drip dry which takes a couple hours and I have a clean patch of grass again! I also bought the pee pee panel mainly because my balcony gets so much sun and this gives the grass some shade so it doesn’t get too hot for their toe beans! This is perfect for potty training my puppy and quick morning and lunch time potty trips for my 2 year old dog! Yes it’s expensive but when you pay once versus weekly it’s much less costly than those grass subscriptions and worth it!!

The Porch Potty Mega was a perfect solution for relocating two adult dogs to a wooden deck area. The dogs immediately took to the new location, and I was able to easily install a drainage pipe system that diverted the drainage to an acceptable dirt location away from the wooden deck. My little Macchiato loves his new porch potty. As a townhome owner without a private yard, this is great for a little daily convenience and puppy training between walks in the neighborhood. I love it for middle of the night or first thing in the morning before I am ready to get out of the house. My only complaint is that the basin and the spray came much later than the rest of the porch potty in a separate package. But now that everything is here, we are very happy with the product!

We have had the Standard Porch Potty for 7 years! Love it. We keep it in our garage and it easily drains to the floor drain. We live in the snowy northeast. Our cockapoo can easily switch between using the Porch Potty and going outside in nicer weather.

I love the porch potty! I got a special turf cleaner and it works amazingly well. I needed a spill-proof container and I found a motorcycle oil changing container that I use instead of a tub system. I love it! I just cleaned the pouch potty and no spillage and it was a lot easier for me. This is a great product especially for puppies and older dogs. I love the catch basin liners/covers but they are so expensive for a package of 15 liners. It’s way too expensive for me but I love the idea.

Absolutely love our Porch Potty Mega. Previously, I was using just a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet. Which was fine, but there was no drainage....scrubbing it every other day!!! With the Porch Potty, there's no more scrubbing. Simply remove solid waste and rinse with the water hose!!!! Cannot recommend this product enough!!!!! ❤️

I’m loving that my puppy is using his Porch Potty, both for pee and poop! Now I don’t have to go ‘outside’ first thing in the morning or late at night to take him out. I contacted the company as the fire hydrant was leaking and they replaced it right way! The Porch Potty itself seems to be really well made.

my dog is a chiweenie and two yrs old. She is a rescue and has trust issues. She was never trained as a puppy and it has taken three months to get her to go out side. She goes out and pees but comes back in and poops. These type of dogs are very stubborn and don't listen and no training as a pup didn't help any. Just a little back ground on her. So I am having a problem getting her to use it . I bought both the mini with real grass and the new small with synthetic grass and put them together. I tried everything it said to do in the book and still no luck. But I am a patient person and I won't give in to her.The pottyare well made and very sturdy. They also dress up her room look very nice. Skeeter and I will conquer this. love them.

I (and the pups of course) couldn't be happier with our porch potty. The drainage is great and makes cleaning a breeze. I have mine on a 2nd story balcony and run the hose to the ground with no issues. I clean it weekly with simple green and water and in the 2 months of operation haven't experienced any odor. If you've got pup's that can't come and go freely to a yard for bathroom breaks I truly think the Porch Potty should be a requirement. It's perfect 👍

After a few days my pup is using the porch potty for urine elimination. Still working on feces elimination. I would recommend this product.

One of our boys is allergic to grass so we are able to keep the Porch Potty within our screened enclosure and simply roll the hose out to drain and clean. Very simple and convenient. When our Porch Potty arrived, one of the frames was damage in shipping and Porch Potty immediatley sent us a replacement. Service and Support are excellent! Would highly recommend.

I bought this in preparation for adopting my first dog, figuring there would be times where he'd need to potty but it wasn't a good time to take a walk (weather, middle of the night, etc.), since we are apartment dwellers. Once he got used to using it, it has been flawless. He uses it every morning while I'm still drinking my coffee so I don't need to run out in my pajamas to walk him first thing, and then we take our walk later. It lives on the balcony and is pretty easy to clean (I recommend using those disinfecting wipes for if there is poo smear on the grass. I spray the bowl occasionally with Nature's Miracle, I haven't tried their version of this yet). He's a tripod and has no problems getting up and down on it, but they do have a ramp for those that need it. Other pet parents at the park, when discussing potty training their puppies, and I told them about the Porch Potty, are very interested! I tell them it is spendy but worth it. We've been using it for four months now and it's quite durable.

My two little Frenchie puppies figured this out from day one. Great for potty training indoors and will eventually move the whole thing outside to my deck. This is a great option for anyone that doesn’t have a fenced yard and needs a backup to walking in rain or snow in Iowa. The look and functionality is superior to anything else on the market.

I live downtown, have two dogs and do dog boarding full time. The porch potty gives all the dogs I care for the ability to relieve themselves outside of their walks. This product is reliable and extremely helpful to my household. I have the drain tube set up to my drainage on the roof so when the dogs pee it goes straight to the sewer. Love this product.

My drainage system is missing a part that keeps it in place! I spent well over €300 for this item and we can’t even use it unless the hose is replaced or we have a drip pan!

The drain hose shown in your photo is actually the correct one for your Small Porch Potty. The screenshot you’re referring to shows the drain attachment for the Premium/Standard model, which is a bit different. To install the drain hose on the Small model, you’ll need to unscrew the hexagon-shaped nut and black washer from one end of the hose, then feed the hose up through the bottom of the tray. Once in place, just screw the nut and washer back on from the top to secure it. We’re here to help if you need further assistance, feel free to reach out anytime!
We purchased the Porch Potty for our 10 1/2 year old Golden doodle in hopes that we could train her to use it before she gets to the point of truly needing to use it. We live in a condo on the 11th floor and, as she ages, we foresee many trips up and down the elevator as her toileting needs change. Our pup loves to please and we thought she would take right to it. We used treats and positive reinforcement for several days but so far we have been u successful in training her to use the system. We even ordered the real grass and poured some of her own urine on it but still no luck. I don’t know if you can “teach old dogs new tricks”. We will try for a few more days (she has been trained to pee pretty much on command but she just can’t wrap her head around the system yet). We will probably gift the system to a neighbor who is getting a new puppy in a few weeks. I have a feeling training a puppy on use of the Porch Potty will be much easier. I am still rating the system as a 5 because: customer service is very helpful with ordering and training questions, it is well made/durable, it is easy to clean, and the drainage system is easy to use. If we were getting a new puppy, I would order the porch potty again in a minute.

The size is great for my miniature poodle...competitors options were too small and she had no room to do the "circle" thing before pooping. I really like there is a canopy to go with it, though it would have been better if it was a solid materiel, rather than woven...won't the rain just come through? I'm going to modify mine before the rain starts this year. My puppy took to the Porch Potty right away...no really coaxing needed. It is attractive on my deck and matches my furniture...love that! A few things to consider: If you use the drain hose be mindful of where that drain ends up. In my case, it ends up either in my neighbor's back yard, or our parking area, depending on the drain I use. People, this is dog urine! So, unless your drain goes directly into a sewer pipe...you are dumping urine somewhere it will for sure get all smelly! Like, would you flush your toilet into your parking area? The drain hose didn't work well, anyway. The angle at the "elbow" is too sharp and the rinse water just backed up into the tray. I switched to just draining into a container, which I dump into a bucket and dispose of in my toilet. Kind of a pain three times a week, but better than no Porch Potty at all. Be mindful that you WILL have to rinse it thoroughly every two to three days or it starts to really reek. All in all, this is working for us for now when she is a puppy. Hopefully at some stage she will be able to hold it until I can take her downstairs and outside.

The cross bar wing screws do not tighten all the way, like the holes are not all the way threaded. Therefore it is not secure for larger dogs. Thankfully mine is a small dog. The drainage system is not the greatest. Needs cleaning after every use or attracts flies which could lay larvas and cause other issues. The drain is not flush with base and therefore urine sits around the drain hole and could cause unwanted and harmful bacteria to grow. Unfortunately I don’t have the option to return it as it has been used which does not qualify for a return, even though they say they are committed to your 100% satisfaction. I’m very disappointed in this product.

Wipe down the tray with the mixture, make sure to wipe down the underside of the tray as well. You can also pour some of the mixture down the drainage tube as urine can build up in the tube. You may want to soak the synthetic grass for a bit before rinsing it and drying it. For the beam screws, the beams are a new addition to the potty to help with support of larger dogs. The best option to get this fixed quickly might be to looser the screws on the frame slightly so you can get the middle beam aligned and then tighten those back up after. If this doesn't work, we're happy to help and please reach out to our customer care team to assist you further.
It is a great idea however it is not functional. I’m disabled and now my dog and I live in an apartment. Two of the wing screws for the cross braces where not able to go in all the way so the cross braces are not secure. Then I noticed flies where all around it and when I lifted the grass up I saw that urine had been sitting in the drain hole do to the drain not being designed to sit flush with surface. The flies have the potential of laying g eggs and them hatching as well as other bacterial growth if not cleaned every use. causing a concern. I rinsed it at least once a day and still had the flies. I feel puppy pads are more sanitary than this. This is more of a hassle to keep clean than to just fight the pain and take her down the stairs and outside.

We're building a house and had to move into a 4th floor apartment. Our dog has always had a yard so we weren't sure what we were going to do until we found Porch Potty. We walk her during the day but she uses it right away in the morning and bed time. She actually goes to the balcony door to let us know she needs to use it. We just rinse it off with a bucket of water and empty the basin every couple days. Great product and very happy we found it!

The drainage pipe is missing a part which, so far, the company has refused to supply. So the entire unit is unusable.

First, unscrew the white hexagon-shaped nut you see in the picture, and remove it along with the black washer from the end. Then, guide the hose up through the bottom of the tray. Finally, screw the nut and washer back on from the top to secure the drain hose in place.
This is a really awesome design for dogs to use for my fur babies. They picked up quickly to use the restroom. Thank you so much for creating such an awesome potty for all the dogs.

Bigger than expected! Wish the fire hydrant had something to hold it down but not a big deal to me as long as my doggies can potty in a proper section that we can keep clean easily and not be as stinky if it was hitting the cement. It also arrived in a timely manner, love it!
