My boy loves to potty on things, and this perfect-size fire hydrant was what he needed to top off the grass potty patch. I just filled it with water and set it on the grass. I think he is happy with it too!

I love the product and idea! Our Schnoodle which is 18 weeks old is already trained to use it. That is the good part. The bad part is that the drainage fitting quality is very poor as well as design. Meaning that the nut that tightens the fitting in place is very thin and easily stripped out. In addition, there needs to be a rubber gasket and thin vinyl friction washer furnished as well. Liquid easily passes by the nut and seeps past the gasket on the bottom and on to the floor. A design issue only and I’m just elaborating on my issue..Thanks!

I’m loving that my puppy is using his Porch Potty, both for pee and poop! Now I don’t have to go ‘outside’ first thing in the morning or late at night to take him out. I contacted the company as the fire hydrant was leaking and they replaced it right way! The Porch Potty itself seems to be really well made.

This is ridiculous. It’s all on me for ordering. It’s cute in the photo, but a little plastic toy. Didn’t help.

Turned a diff color after a month in the back yard, put water in it and it still would stand up

My fur babies love it just as much as I do!!! This is our 3rd one only because the sun fades the colorful red. But it brings life to the yard. Thank you

Not substantial in the least. Wind blows it over. Dogs knock it over. A slight exhale of breath knocks it over. A balloon would work better.

This little fire hydrant lasts a really long time - had the first one for almost 7 years. Not sure why or how it works, but it does. After my pup "activates" it (i.e. pees on it), I move it to under the tray, off to the side. We cannot smell it but he can. It keeps working even after we clean and/or replace the grass.

The picture was deceiving on what you received. It looks like you get the grass and fire hydrant. Also the fire hydrant is so small it is knocked over by my 8 pound Yorkie. There is nothing on the bottom to allow it to stand when the dog is lifting it's leg.

Only one of my Yorkies like using it.

I did not receive the fire hydrant in my original shipment, realized it quite a while later, messaged the company and actually got a response! They even mailed me one right away, at no charge! Great customer service, cute product!

This is my second hydrant. I had the other for over 8 years so even after washing it every month or so, it still became time to replace. Nowhere else have I found any like this.

The porch potty helped me potty train my 2 little fur babies. I put it on the grass and they love to potty on it

Not sure what I was expecting, but the quality is very “cheap”. Just a light plastic “toy”. Overpriced for the quality for sure, but where else do you get a mini fire hydrant?!!

I could not get my male dog to use the pee pads inside the house … he was such a trainable pup .. unlike my female pup. But she was the one using the pee pads! So I ordered the fire hydrant and boom!! He now uses the pee pads on our rainy days inside!!!

Second time I’ve bought these and apparently the scent doesn’t work with Chihuahuas.

It was a great buy I wouldn’t say it was a great price, deal, or value. It’s fine but I’m not quite sure how to get it to stand up straight on my grass.

My dog was totally not interested in this hydrant. Sorry to say as I was hoping the live grass plus hydrant would work. I did not smell a scent either.

it is really cute but, when i put it in his potty box on the deck, it is smaller than I thought it would be (I didn't pay attention to size) and he thinks it's a toy so, not knowing what the scent product used was, i removed it.

The hydrant arrived, super cute but it came bent and dented. Since we are using it as a pee post, will not send back but a little annoyed for the condition it came in.

My dog took to the hydrant immediately & stopped peeing on the chair nearby. I would recommend this item & would purchase again.

It was a stab in the dark - sometimes my 14-yr old rat terrier will "go for it" but most often, not.

So far my dog has not wanted to pee on this thing. Do I have to buy something to spray on it to make him want to?

The Scented Fire Hydrant has been in my home for two weeks and my dog still does not use it. I have been advised to soak it with his urine so he smells that it is okay to “go” there. After completing that, he continues to use the furniture to relieve himself. On the bright side, this company has customer service.

This is my second time buying in almost 7 years. Great for condo living. One at my house but also one at grandma’s and one at auntie’s for when my puppies visit. Lol
